Since August of 2021, I’ve published over 30 articles here on Medium all discussing how the Christian Church has covered up, misdirected, and out-right lied about the history of Jesus, the Apostles, the Bible, and even GOD.
In a nutshell, the mainstream modern Christian Church doesn’t follow the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Church follows a new god it created via Paul.
Paul is the real founder of the Christian Church, not Yeshuah (Jesus).
In this new article, I’m going to introduce us to some concepts you may already know, and a few you may not. But more importantly, I want us to understand WHY the Church attempted to rewrite history.
James and Jesus Were Jewish Nobility
In later Church tradition, the Roman Catholic Church attempted to cast the family of Jesus as being from an impoverished backwater town called Nazareth. Jesus was so poor that he had to be born in some lowly manger because there was n
o room at an inn. You get the picture.
However, nothing could be further from the truth of what the true historical Jesus was.
The fact of the matter is, James and Jesus were members of a very prominent, noble, dare I say royal family in first-century Jerusalem. Jesus’ cousin was John (the Baptist) whose father served as Temple High Priest. Both Jesus and James taught in the Temple. James himself would take on the role of High Priest in later years after Jesus’ death.
They didn’t let just anyone teach in the Temple or be High Priest, you had to be a member of the priesthood in order to do that. And as participating members of the Temple priesthood, James and Jesus’ family had money. Buckets of money. To say that the family of Jesus and Jesus himself was well-known in first-century would be an understatement.
Paul Was A Rogue Apostle
What the Church doesn’t want you knowing is that Paul was not best buddies with the hand-picked “Super Apostles” (NIV) of Jesus. Paul even says so in his second letter to the Corinthian church. While openly insulting the “Chiefest Apostles” (KJV), Paul admits that he preaches a “different Jesus”, a “different Gospel”, and is under a “different spirit” than the Super Apostles are. (2 Corinthians 11)
These are Paul’s own words.
While the anti-Semitic Pagan (Gentile) Church in Rome tries to make it look like Paul is contending with some low-life “Judaizers” attempting to shut-down his bogus ministry, whom Paul was really contending with were the hand-picked Apostles of Jesus—and it was THEY, James, Peter, John, Matthew, and the rest, who were on a mission to destroy Paul’s bogus ministry.
And they were quite suc
cessful. By the end of the first-century, the ministry of Paul was all but dead.
So what had Paul been preaching that was so offensive to the Jewish populations?
In essence, Paul had turned the Jewish noble, Jesus, into a Pagan (Gentile) Mithraic human sacrifice. This human sacrifice business, though perfectly acceptable to Gentile Pagans, would be something the Jewish crowds and the Jewish Apostles would have angrily repudiated.
Why?
For one, human sacrifice made a mockery of GOD by utterly violating the Law of God. Secondly, it sullied if not destroyed the reputation of Jesus and his family by turning his murder by the corrupt Sadducean court into yet another Pagan mockery.
The Jews didn’t hate the Hellenized Paul because he was preaching a truth they didn’t want to hear, as most Gentile (Pagan) Christian churches errantly preach today. Paul was disputed and often physically attacked because he was turning the murder of Jesus, a prominent Jewish rabbi, into a pagan human sacrifice!
The Gospels Are Lying Writs
What came out of the first century were essentially two versions of history about Jesus, one factual and historical, the other Pagan myth that would become mainstream Christianity once Constantine took it over.
To hear the Church tell their version of Church history, EVERYONE in the first few centuries of Christianity was simply following their Catholic (Universal) church and gospel and Paul’s letters.
But that is a lie.
The truth is, there were a myriad of Christian factions following in the footsteps of Jesus and the Apostles, each writing their own accounts of what really happened from a historical standpoint.
As Paul’s bogus ministry was growing and then waning toward the latter part of the first century, early Pauline adherents—utterly unknown followers of Paul—manufactured bogus lying books that would later be placed within the Roman Catholic Bible, lying books we today we call the “Gospels”.
These Gospel books were indeed part of a dying Pauline “Church”. They incorporated bits and pieces of commonly known (at the time) events of Jesus ministry and life, bogus genealogies (Matthew and Luke genealogies do not agree, yet somehow the Bible is still without error), supernatural stuff people had made up, fictitious miracles, and all manner of things that supported their magical mystical version of Paul’s new Mithraic “Jesus”.
SOME of the historical accounts were likely true or based on true events from Yeshuah’s life. Other events were just made up out of whole cloth and inserted into these books to add supernatural interest and intrigue into the story.
While the so-called synoptic gospels were likely based on an early source book now lost to time, the Gospel of John was the biggest lying writ of them all, one that quite literally turned Jesus into a rebranded version of the pagan god Mithras without actually using Mithras’ name. (See the below article for a deeper dive into who and what Mithras was.)
Jesus Never Preached A “New Covenant”
Jesus never once mentions a so-called “new covenant”, or in a Biblical context, a “New Testament”, meaning a new agreement, a new contract.
Ostensibly, according to Paul—and just Paul—this new contract is something GOD created. It somehow came about because GOD changed their mind and did away with the “inferior” animal sacrifices as being the mechanism for atonement from sin, and instead substituted a superior perfect human sacrifice as the final atonement for all the sins of the world, past, present and future.
The only problems with this lying bogus gospel are:
- GOD doesn’t need to change: “He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a human being, that he should change his mind.” —1 Samuel 15:29 NIV
- GOD never asked for nor commanded sacrifices in the first place: “I gave your ancestors no commands about burnt offerings or any other kinds of sacrifices when I brought them out of Egypt.” —Jeremiah 7:22 GNT
- GOD never said they would create a “new covenant”, but simply “renew” the ONE Covenant they had made with man at the outset. Christian scholars deliberately mistranslate the simple Hebrew word חָדָשׁ (ḥāḏāš, pronounced khaw-dawsh’) into “new” because that is what the lying charlatan apostle Paul said. But again, context is everything. GOD doesn’t need to create a brand new agreement; only “renew” the one we broke. In fact, GOD is constantly renewing his ONE Covenant with us each time we simply repent of our sin.
The so-called New Testament is the Church’s (Paul’s) bogus mechanism to somehow overwrite the one true GOD of the Bible and replace GOD with an inferior Pagan god of their own creation, or Paul’s creation as it were.
Jesus preached a Gospel of “repentance for the forgiveness of sin”, not himself or his own “holiness” claimed as a human sacrifice.

Jesus Was Vegetarian
Along the way of manufacturing a new “Jesus” and openly disputing with Peter, one of Jesus’ hand-picked Super Apostles, Paul finds it necessary to attack some things that the rank and file followers of Jesus were doing that he didn’t agree with, namely: 1) keeping the Jewish holy days, and 2) being vegan/vegetarian.
Evidently, this vegetarian business was a big deal in Paul’s day. Big enough that it caused the Hellenized Paul some problems.
Why?
James and Jesus were historically vegetarian. I’m not sure if they were vegan, let’s just observe that they didn’t eat meat. This would have been a cause for concern within the Temple priesthood who sold the meat sacrificed in the Temple.
Vegetarians were bad for business.
It also gives us a glimmer of understanding that Jesus was preaching against some things in Torah (the Law) both he and James found suspect; meaning, what had been written within the Law proclaiming this and that animal was clean to eat was not really the will of GOD.
In previous articles I have brought to light how GOD chastised the priesthood for inserting falsehood into Torah with their “lying pens”. (Jeremiah 8:8)
Dr. Robert Eisenman was one of our era’s most prominent scholars on the life of James’ and Jesus’ family and how the Dead Sea Scrolls revealed much that the Roman Catholic and Protestant Church(es) have been hiding—like the vegetarian James and Jesus.
Do Not Eat At The Mountain Shrines
While I usually don’t believe a word Paul says, it is interesting to me that within Luke’s Acts of the Apostles, James is recorded saying that for Gentiles to worship side-by-side with their Jewish brethren in their synagogue (church), they must:
“Abstain from food polluted by idols”.
Most people have no idea what this even means.
So let’s take a look in the Prophets, back to Ezekiel where GOD is enumerating some things they count as sin. One of these things is:
“He does not eat at the mountain shrines or look to the idols of Israel.”
What is happening at these mountain shrines are sacrifices of animals (and even human children, but that’s an article for another time). These shrines were in many ways places just like the Temple in Jerusalem, only much smaller operations where animals were sacrificed to a pagan god and the meat brunt (cooked) and then sold to hungry patrons.
Food offered to idols is meat, folks. This is what James was telling the Gentiles wanting to become followers of Jesus to do. Stop eating meat.
Paul’s Bullying Advice
Paul takes up this controversy in Romans 14 where he deliberately insults vegan/vegetarian followers as having “weak faith”. Again, the Church doesn’t want you knowing that James and Jesus were vegetarian, and it doesn’t want you knowing that “food polluted by idols” (if that is really how James said it) is really “meat”.
At this point we should know that this is how the liar Paul bullies his readers into accepting something that is Pagan (Gentile), teaching something that is outside of what the true Jewish Apostles and Yeshuah (Jesus) were teaching.
Paul goes on and on about how his god doesn’t care about what days you keep holy or what you eat or don’t eat.
But there is a subtle half-truth, a lie, at work here. Paul never tells you that both Jesus and his elder brother James were vegetarian. The reason is obvious. They were the founding members of the Jerusalem Synagogue (Church) who were large and in-charge and Paul was a murderous interloping nobody fighting with James and Peter.
The Church’s lying writs also attempt to cast the vegetarian Peter as carnivorous with Luke relaying a concocted vision with all kinds of animals descending from heaven and Paul’s bogus Jesus telling Peter to kill and eat them. Although Luke may have written Acts of the Apostles, it has Paul’s Hellenized Pagan imprint all over it.
Even within the Tanakh, Christian and some Jewish scholars attempt to hide the fact that at least some of the prophets were vegan/vegetarian.
When Daniel and his friends were brought into Babylon as captives, they refused to eat the king’s “meat” (KJV) and instead ate only vegetables. (Daniel 1) The KJV translates the word פת־בג (p̄ṯ-ḇḡ, pronounced ‘pathbag’) as “meat”, because that’s what it actually means within this literary context.
But no, our Christian translators cannot make Paul look like the liar that he is, so they take it upon themselves to massage the translation and render the term פת־בג as anything but “meat”, inventing phrases like “royal food” when the underlying term actually means literally food with “meat” within this context. If the “royal food” only had vegan faire, we wouldn’t even be discussing this topic.
You can even find the vegetarian Jesus eating fish in Luke’s gospel—there’s a surprise. Luke, a Gentile Pagan, was part of Paul’s rogue group.
I am not telling you to go and become vegetarian or vegan. I’m vegetarian, but that’s me. What I am saying is that people are becoming more and more aware of what it means to show compassion to animals.
Jesus, James, Peter, and many of the Prophets were vegan/vegetarian for a reason. Paul was a liar and a murderer—this is not a decision based on “weak faith”. It is based on compassion. Make your own decisions from there.
Jesus Worshipped on Saturday, not Sunday
Believe it or not, I grew up so ignorant in my understanding of Christianity that I never knew Jesus worshipped on Saturday and not Sunday. NO ONE ever told me that Jesus worshipped on a different day. I just honestly thought Jesus worshipped on Sunday like everyone did.
It was a bit of a rude awakening for me to discover otherwise. And later I would learn why the Church didn’t tell me this: because they didn’t want me knowing and making the connection that Roman Catholic (and by extension Protestant) Christianity wasn’t really the same faith of Jesus and the Apostles.

The Fourth Commandment entreats us to:
“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to AHYH your God. … Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.”
The Hebrew Sabbath Day mentioned within the Fourth Commandment is what we call Saturday, the 7th day of the week, it is not Sunday, the 1st day of the week.
In essence, Paul is unilaterally rewriting the Commandments here.
With Paul as their foundational guide, the 4th century Roman Catholic Church would later change the Christian day of worship from the 7th day to the 1st day, as a day most period Roman pagans already honored, Dies Solis, or Sun’s Day, and also referred to as “the Lord’s Day”.
This day of worship was officially changed by the Roman Catholic Church during the ecumenical Council of Laodicea in c. 364 CE. Canon 29 reads:
“Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honoring the Lord’s Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ.”
The only reason I am showing us this is to point out that the early Roman Catholic Church in its highly anti-Jewish mindset was busily distancing itself from anything remotely Jewish. They had already turned the Jewish Jesus into a Pagan god imported from Mithraism.
But these CHRISTIANS who were keeping the Jewish feasts, sabbaths, and other culturally Jewish things during this period were effectively mocking the Pagan Gentile Church in Rome. So-called “Judaizing” Christians were just doing what Jesus and the Super Apostles did, and that stood in marked, stark contrast to what the Pagan/Gentile Roman Catholic Church was doing with their manufactured Mithraic “Jesus”, preached by a charlatan apostle, complete with a human sacrifice gospel.
This was something the Roman anti-Semites could just not allow to continue.
I’m not suggesting you or anyone become Jewish; I’m merely pointing out the fact that other early Christians honored the holy days James and Jesus and the rest of the Apostles honored.
“But Keith, Jesus taught against the Sabbath!”
No he did not.
What Jesus did come against was turning this day of rest into a trap. “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath—” is a perfect illustration of how the Pharisees and Sadducees had twisted the simple day of rest into some abominable monstrosity of do’s and don’ts.
Even today, many Orthodox Jews and some Christian Sabbath-keeping denominations have erected all kinds of man-made mitzvahs and pseudo-laws that attempt to decree what you can and cannot do on the day of rest. These idiots—yes, they are idiots, and yes I just insulted them on purpose, thank you for noticing—think they are serving GOD by nit-picking every action they do or don’t do on Shabbat. That is not serving GOD; you’re only serving your own nit-picky ego trying to be holier than the next person.
This is the kind of “legalism” Jesus was teaching against.
Be glad you haven’t fallen into that trap. I have been there, done that, wrote the book on it. Use the Shabbat as it was intended, take a day off, relax, rest, play, worship if you want. The Sabbath was meant to be used as a time to recharge—not imprison us.
Conclusion
I continue to write these articles because I am incensed by the Church’s fabrications and outright lies they have used to trap people in their deeply tangled web of deceit.
